2025 School Board Election Preview
As a part of Madison County’s consolidated election on April 1, residents will vote to fill four spots on the District 7 school board. Three of the candidates will be elected from inside the largest Edwardsville Township, and one will be elected from the remaining congressional townships.
There are nine candidates running in total, with seven running to fill the three spots, and two running to fill the remaining spot.
Two candidates, Terri Dalla Riva — the board’s current vice president — and Scott Ahart — who filled the vacancy left in early 2024 when John McDole resigned — are running for re-election. Jennifer Brumback and Kristin Pfund are not running for re-election.
