In April, EHS is offering juniors the chance to take ACT preparation workshops free of cost.
While some ACT courses cost up to $400, students can take free math and English courses, which cover reading comprehension, writing and grammar.
“It’s a great way to learn tricks of the ACT and things to improve your score,” English Department Head Heather Haskins said.
Senior Nicola Muscroft, who took some classes with the school last year, said, “Their helpful tips were something I kept with me throughout the testing.”
“I would recommend these classes for students to take at least once just so they’re aware of what to expect,” added senior Victoria Millman.
Math ACT workshops are offered Mondays and Wednesday in room A314. English workshops are held April 10 and 12 in room A209 and April 17 and 19 in room A221.
